Dean and Michelle Harper
Co-founders (and husband-and-wife duo) Dean and Michelle Harper are London-based, with a passion for gaining culinary insights and world travel. After holding senior chef positions in top hotels and restaurants, Dean further developed his skills and knowledge by spending time overseas – gaining insight into local produce, trends, and a multitude of cuisines, before moving into the private sector as a private chef for A-list actors, sports professionals and UHNW families. Michelle works hard on the organisation of private events, going above and beyond for your brief, ensuring constant correspondence with your chef and waiter so that your private dining event is well organised and delivered flawlessly. Our shared passion for exceptional food and thoughtful hospitality led us to create Harper Privè. The art of dining and service is at the heart of everything we do.
Although we are London-based, our team will happily travel to all areas of the UK to deliver a luxury and intimate dining experience in your home.

Kind Words
‘Your team delivered a wonderful event last night. The food was amazing, the wine was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly, warm and knowledgeable.’
‘The team were really lovely and the food was absolutely outstanding. We all agreed that each course was delicious and couldn’t make up our minds about what we liked best, as it was all so good. The team were professional, but at the same time extremely friendly, and it was a real pleasure having them in the house.’
‘Literally, there is nothing I would change, and plenty of high points that I didn’t expect. The team were all charming and worked tirelessly from the moment they arrived. The menu was delicious and the cocktails were the best any of us had tasted! Together with you at the centre co-ordinating, we could not have had a more perfect evening.’
‘The meal was fantastic, and the team were super organised and prompt. The service team knew exactly what they were doing, and left the place probably cleaner than they found it.’

Yes, we work with experienced sommeliers who can curate wine pairings to complement your menu. They can attend your event to guide guests through the wines or prepare a wine flight for your waiter to serve.
- What kitchen facilities are required?
Most home kitchens are perfectly suitable for our chefs to work in. If your kitchen space is limited, we will discuss this with you in advance and adapt accordingly to ensure the event runs smoothly. Our chefs usually bring the equipment they know they will need.
- What is your cancellation policy?
If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact us immediately so that we can attempt to arrange a chef for an alternative event date.
For dinner parties, an initial deposit of 25% of the full event cost must be paid to confirm the booking and secure the team. This deposit is non-refundable as costs will have been incurred. However, depending on the circumstances, we may review this position and potentially move the booking to a date close to the original in emergency situations.
Payment of the remaining balance must be made fourteen days prior to the event, when produce will be purchased and the team will require payment for work they have already commenced. This also avoids last-minute cancellations where they would otherwise be left without work. If cancellation occurs after this date, the payment is non-refundable.
